Defying Disciplines
The arts are integrated into daily life here at 桃瘾社区. You have the freedom to practice your talents at the highest level, even if you鈥檙e not majoring or minoring in fine arts. Or pursue research that connects art with other subjects in creative new ways.
At the Galleries
The William H. Van Every and Edward M. Smith Galleries support the academic mission of the college through the presentation, interpretation, and discussion of primarily contemporary artworks in all media. Gallery exhibitions and programs nurture individual thinking, develop visual literacy, and inspire a lifelong commitment to the arts.
Artist Series
The C. Shaw and Nancy K. Smith Artist Series听offers an ever-growing selection of entertainment, culture and quality, bringing听acts to campus such as Second City, Urban Bush Women and听Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
The faculty and students who participate in the Union Board Artist Series Committee take great pride in selecting and presenting a series for students, faculty, staff and community members to enjoy.
