ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø

The  is home to ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø and is closely connected to the college and its students.

Founded after the college in 1879, the Town is designed for pedestrians and bikers creating a close-knit, walkable community.

Students can take a short walk from campus to historic downtown ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø. Downtown is lined with an eclectic array of locally-owned shops, galleries and restaurants with The Village Green at the center. The Green serves as the social hub for many of the Town's annual events such as the Concerts on the Green music series and provides ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø with a venue for its outdoor events. Town favorite  was voted Charlotte's best college hangout by Creative Loafing magazine.

Locals and students alike enjoy the  full of fresh, local produce and cooking tips from visiting chefs. The Town's Greenway trails cut through and surround the Town for outdoor activity and relaxation.

ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø is a growing community in the Greater Charlotte area but remains committed to maintaining its unique small-town character and values.
